Yawn. Okay, I’m going to interrupt my own bio to speak for myself.

Hi, I’m Kelly!

I’m giving you a big smile right now from cyberspace, even though you can’t see it. If we were meeting in person, I’d shake your hand. And if you happen to be an armadillo, I’d try not to scream while giving your claw a friendly tap. I really do try to be inclusive and outgoing with everyone.

There isn’t much I love more than books. I love reading them, writing them, and yes, sniffing them (that musty page aroma is delightful). My greatest goal as an author is that no person under 18 will whine while reading my stories. You can call that a low bar, but after raising two kids of my own, I can tell you it’s no small feat.

So, you know I’m crazy about books. We can check that off the list. I also love my dog Winnie, a 5-pound Maltipoo who barks at squirrels and passing dogs. All day. It’s sort of annoying, but she’s lucky she’s cute! I’m a big fan of Disney Pixar movies, especially Inside Out and Finding Dory. I have a strange allergy to squash and zucchini, and I don’t like pizza with lots of cheese. I moved to Indiana from Florida in 2001, and I’m still getting used to driving through cornfields taller than my car.

So there you have it: useless, random facts that will take up space in your brain and keep you from remembering important phone numbers.

Until we meet again, happy reading!

Kelly
